Dear RFDF Team,

With the new year coming in full gear, our budget can be at risk. We always say, "Oh, I'll just buy this right now, and save the money with my nect check or next month, and before we know it, it is Mid-October and the Holidays are coming up really quick and we haven't saved a penny yet. As I was reading about finances in the U.S., I can across a very interesting article dealing with our personal fiances and what we cna do to help save our money and not spend it as much. When we go to the local grocery store (Wal-Mart, Sam's, Cosco, HEB, etc.) we grab tons of different types of food that we don't need and sometimes won't even eat. This is a waste of food and money. I found this article very helpful, especially as a student. We need to save every penny we can and think twice about some of the things we buy or when we go shopping.

I thought it was a great article to read and it can always help us refresh our minds and maybe change our way of thinking and, next time we go to the store.

It is so true, we go out and buy stuff we don't even need most of the time. Now I'm going to think what I'm going to buy before i buy it! thanks!

Gabriela,

Yes, this was definitely an eye opener for me too. Really makes me think now everytime I go to the store & before I buy something.

Sincerely,

Melissa
