With 2011 done and gone, what are you doing to look forward to 2012? Do you have any educational, professional, financial, etc. goals? What do you hope the new year will bring?

Now that 2011 has past by and the New Year is right on track I am looking forward to my spring semester in college. My educational plan is to start toward a minor in Spanish and pursue my major in Business. These goals are not going to come over night so for this year I am hoping o continue my studies and be able to keep my goals in sight and not allow them to get out of reach.

Like Johnny Cordova, I am also continuing school. I’ve been contemplating staying (besides next year) another year to study abroad. I am very excited for this year because I will finally finish with my general education courses, and I will be able to focus more on both of my majors’ classes and other activities. Like last year, this year I also plan on keeping a journal to not only help me remember my activities but also improve my writing skills.

I’m looking forward to all the new opportunities and experiences this year will bring, and hope that everybody else is too.

The thing i am looking forward to is finishing all the prerequisites I need, maybe just two semesters, to start my associates degree in Sonography. Hopefully I will keep doing good in my studies so I can get into the program. Good luck to everyone.

2011 was a great year with many new experiences. I graduated high school, began college, and got my first job. It was a year to go through many mile stones and I want 2012 to be a wonderful year as well. I recently submitted an application to be considered for an internship position in Washington, D.C. for the summer. I am super nervous and excited. I would be honored with a position to be able to show the students from the little town I grew up in that small town kids can do big things. If I am not selected for the internship, I plan to volunteer at a hospital in hopes of substantiating what major I'd like to pursue. I am interested in nursing, pharmacy, and endocrinology which all revolve around a hospital setting, so I would like to see what it is like to spend so much time in that environment.

I look forward to this year and wish everyone the best with their endeavors! emoticon_biggrin.gif
